New Light
Only He knew everything I went through.
Only He had the power to make it go away.
But He put me through it,
Dark night with gray clouds,
Cold days with no smile--
No light.
Heavy rains pouring down.
There is no great moment to walk
So, I walked in the rain
So, they won’t see my tears.
He saved me.
No downs. Only one way up.
No more wants. I got all I need--
No more frustration. I’ve seen its pain.
No more failure. I gave everything.
No more sadness. More of my happiness.
No more disappointments. They are proud of me.
No more pain. There is nothing else to hurt.

No more blood. You could see right through me.
No sorrow. I have been through the worst.
No heart. They gave me a soul.
No stars. There is always light.
No darkness. Everything shines.
No mourning. They welcomed me.
No house. I am already home.
No more suffering. The price is paid.
No more tears. They ran out.
Now I can see a new light.
I am where I was destined to be.
