Welcome to Bishop Kearney High School's new and improved literary magazine! WORD., Bishop Kearney's Literary Magazine, was created many years ago by students that have long since graduated. For many years, the magazine was published and distributed each spring. After a long hiatus, the literary magazine has moved from print to this digital platform in the hopes of connecting to a wider audience. We hope you enjoy the writing in WORD. Here, you can find poems ranging from the power of music to the bond of physics, from the simplicity of nature to the complicated relationship we have with our planet.

Welcome to Bishop Kearney High School's Literary Magazine.
Bishop Kearney High School | a Golisano Education Partner is a private, Roman Catholic, co-educational high school located in suburban Irondequoit. It offers educational opportunities for students in grades 6-12 in the tradition of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and School Sisters of Notre Dame. It is staffed by professional educators, both lay and religious, all dedicated to the education of young men and women. Bishop Kearney is nationally recognized for providing a quality college preparatory program in a family environment. The school of about 340 students boasts a championship athletic program, a growing music and theater program, and a student-run television station all situated on a picturesque 42 acre campus.
