The Way of Hope

Hope is the bright shining sun--

If you only believe in it during the day,

You’ll never make it through the night.

​

Hope is an empty box which yearns to be filled--

With joy,

With pain,

With light.

 

Hope is the Wi-Fi signal

which reaches to the deepest depths--

Some can do well with little,

Some need a lot.

 

Hope is a never-ending quarry

which can be mined for more and more,

Always giving and giving,

Never finding the rest that it asks for,

Its mission, too important to stop.
