And if you don’t get that amount you won’t be thinking right.
You need sleep so you can be ready for morning,
For the work, stress, and new ideas you should be adorning.
But do you ever stop and appreciate your rest?
That time you have to yourself makes you truly blessed.
For it's the magic of the night
That gets you ready for the morning’s new light.
We easily overlook the time that separates days,
When we should stop and appreciate the night’s healing ways.
