Welcome to the Spring 2026 edition of WORD., Bishop Kearney's Literary Magazine. Within these pages, you will find stories, essays and poems that run the gamut of creativity: from a tract on feminism to a gothic vampire tale; from an essay on Physics to poetry examining what it means to be a friend, to have hope, to grow old. Bishop Kearney High School is proud of our student writers, whose voices add to the literary chorus. Now more than ever, creative expression is necessary. We hope students continue to find their own unique voice and add it to the eternal song that swells from our humanity.
