The Trees
As I sit, staring into an endless abyss of trees,
A warm and peaceful feeling washes over me
Without a clue of what is out there.
Maybe a bear, or God’s divine flight of stairs.
The sea of green really make me wonder,
What’s the point of all this trouble we cause each other?
Everything calm, nothing disturbed.
We really need to appreciate this earth.
My stresses, my grades, my universities,
It all melts away while I’m staring at the trees.
